Carn Brea Leisure Centre Trust is an independent Charitable Trust providing sports and leisure facilities to over 600,000 visitors each year. The Trust is consistently recognised as running the most cost-effective leisure centre in Cornwall, with friendly, motivated and experienced management and staff.

Carn Brea Leisure Centre first opened its doors to the public in 1974, and in 2000 the Centre became the County’s first independent Charitable Trust leisure centre following a transfer from Kerrier District Council.
In the present day the Centre provides sport and leisure facilities to over 600,000 visitors each year, and is consistently recognised as running the most cost effective Leisure Centre in Cornwall and the South West with excellent, motivated and experienced management and staff.
The Trust is committed to ensuring that high quality sustainable leisure facilities remain an essential component of the regeneration of the Camborne, Pool, Illogan and Redruth area (CPIR), and the management team are actively pursuing ways in which to ensure the Centre’s future and development.
