Our New Jungle-Themed Softplay Opens on Monday 12th of May 2025!

We’re excited to announce that our brand new jungle-themed soft play is set to open its doors here at Carn Brea Leisure Centre, bringing much-needed fun activity space for young children in the area.

The new facility, Carn Brea Soft Play, is designed for children under 148cm and offers a colourful, adventure-packed environment where little ones can climb, crawl, and explore. Featuring jungle-themed play structures and a safe, engaging layout, it’s the perfect spot for children to stay active and let their imaginations run wild.

This launch comes at a time when families across the region have seen a decline in available indoor activity options for children. The closure of several local facilities in recent years has made access to family-friendly spaces more important than ever.

£3 for ages 0–2

£6 for ages 3+

One adult per child goes free

Additional adults: £2

Session times and availability are listed on the booking page of our website, with pre-booking recommended.

In addition to regular play sessions, Carn Brea Soft Play will also be available for birthday parties and private hire, offering families the opportunity to celebrate special occasions in a unique and exciting environment.

Carn Brea Soft Play is more than just a play area – it’s a space designed to support early development, social interaction, and active lifestyles in a setting that sparks joy and creativity.

Families are warmly invited to come along and experience the fun from 10am on Monday 12th May.

Welcome to our Soft Play Area! For the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, please read and adhere to the following terms and conditions of use:

1. Parental/Guardian Supervision Required
   Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Staff are not responsible for the supervision of children.
2. Use at Own Risk
   Use of this soft play area is entirely at your own risk. The management accepts no liability for injuries, loss, or damage howsoever caused.
3. Height Restrictions
   This area is designed for children under 148cm. Please ensure your child is within the appropriate age and height limits for safe play.
4. Health & Safety
   • No shoes in the play area; socks must be worn at all times.
   • No food, drinks, or chewing gum allowed in the play zone.
   • Children who are unwell or have infectious conditions should not use the play facilities.
5. Behaviour
   Rough play, bullying, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to ask any person to leave the premises if rules are not followed.
6. Personal Belongings
   Please keep personal belongings with you. We do not accept responsibility for any lost or stolen items.
