Carn Brea Leisure Centre

The centre provides a full range of athletic and sports based activities, fitness classes, swimming and gym memberships. The only Leisure Centre in Cornwall to be run as a Charitable Trust is centrally located between Camborne and Redruth.

The centre has the only 8 lane outdoor, all weather track in Cornwall, and a 25m indoor heated swimming pool. The gym is fully equiped with all the latest cardio vascular and resistance equipment, in addition to a free-weights room. Individual training programmes and plans are available from our highly trained and skilled staff. Personal training is also available.
 

The studio has a large range of aerobic classes and dance classes and is the only health and fitness centre in Cornwall to offer the Body Training System (BTS) portfolio of: Body Pump, Body Combat, Body Balance, Body Attack and Body Jam.

The 25m (6 lane) indoor swimming pool offers open sessions, as well as school swimming groups. Our own Fastlane swimming school and Rookie life saving programme produce fantastic results. More children learn to swim with us than ever before. Our diving pool is 3m deep and is available for sub aqua clubs and organisations for training. Carn Brea has a varied swimming pool timetable including school swimming times, Aqua Aerobics classes and a range of kids fun activities during school holidays.
