Our swimming facilities offer a variety of activities, including public swimming sessions, aqua aerobics classes, swimming lessons, swim coaching and a range of fun kid's activities like our Carn Brea Croc.

Please read below for more details on the different activities we offer:

Main Pool
Escape from the stresses of the world in our heated, 25m indoor swimming pool: whether you want to have a relaxing evening swim, push for that extra length or have a day out with the family.

Learner Pool
Our separate, smaller Learner Pool offers a safe haven away from the main pool, perfect for introducing babies and young children to the water.

The pool in easily accessed at one end with steps and gently slopes from 70cms at the shallow end to 90cms at the deep end. Our public swimming sessions involve the use of floats, woggles and hoops and, as with the main pool, is always attended by a lifeguard during public swimming sessions. 

Swim Coaching
This class is a group training session aimed at improving swim technique and is for people who already have swim ability. Sessions are overseen by a swimming coach and there is no public access to the pool during this class. Please book with our reception team on 01209 714766.

Aqua Aerobics
Our water based aerobics session offers a workout designed to increase aerobic capacity, aid weight control, burn calories quickly and tone the body. Please see our fitness class timetable for class times.

Flume and Pool Inflatable
Our super flume operates every Friday evening and weekend and adds an exciting twist to a swim session.

Plus our huge inflatable, the Carn Brea Croc, offers exhilerating, high octane sessions for children throughout the year with extra sessions during school holidays. Normal rules apply for these sessions, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Please note: the pool is closed for half an hour before and after the croc session for set-up and takedown.
