Swimming Lessons

Carn Brea’s Swim School provides the perfect platform for your child to learn confidence and competence in the water.

The swimming lessons are taught by our highly qualified and experienced staff. We follow the ASA National Plan for Swim Teaching to ensure that each child progresses at their own pace.

Children are taught in small groups, in the main or learner pool depending of their level.

Parent and baby swimming, work through our Duckling Awards with your little one from just 3 months old!

Aquababies - 3 - 18 months
Aquatots - 18 months - 3 years
Tinytots - 3 - 4 years

We also offer a fantastic Rookie Lifeguard course for children, run by Ian Godwin who is qualified as a Trainer Assessor for the Royal Lifesaving Society UK, and includes Holiday Rookie right through to separate stages taking the children up to the RLSS Bronze Medallion stage, which is recognised as the 'flagship' award for lifesaving.

One to One Lessons

These lessons are great for children who need individual tuition or for those who are too self conscious to join a small group.
