Main Pool
Enjoy our indoor heated 25m, 6 lane swimming pool for public swimming sessions, aqua aerobics, swim coaching, flume and our other water based activities.

Learner Pool
Our separate, smaller Learner Pool is perfect for parents with small children who want to introduce their children to the water in a safe haven away from the main pool. Our public sessions include the use of floats, woggles and hoops.

The pool in easily accessed at one end with steps and gently slopes from 70cms at the shallow end to 90cms at the deep end. As with the main pool the learner pool is always attended by a lifeguard during public swimming.

Swimming Lessons
For water babies of all ages! (3 months +)
Our dedicated team of swim instructors operate swimming lessons for children in small groups throughout term time.

The classes are split into levels which reflect the children’s ability. Our swim school is one of the biggest in Cornwall and has been awarded the Premium AquaMark from the Amateur Swimming Association.

In addition to regular swimming classes our dedicated
team also offer Rookie Lifeguard training, which gives children the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised Life Saving qualification.

Carn Brea’s highly qualified swim teachers also offer intensive swimming classes for children during the school holidays as well as adult swimming lessons and one to one lessons. Please contact Matt Johns for further information on all our swimming activities on 01209 722002

Swim Coaching
This class is a group training session aimed at improving swim techniques and is for people who already have swim ability. There is no public access to the pool during this class. Please book with our reception team.

Aqua Aerobics
Our water based aerobics session offers a workout designed to increase aerobic capacity, aid weight control, burn calories quickly and tone the body. 

 Flume and Pool Inflatable
Our super flume and huge inflatable crocodile offer exciting, high octane sessions for the children throughout the year, with additional sessions during school holidays. Normal rules apply for these sessions, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Sub Aqua Diving
Our diving pool is 3m deep and offers sub aqua clubs and organisations the opportunity to train in a safe and controlled environment with all the facilities of a modern leisure centre. Space is available for theory if required and on request.
