In support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Saturday 11th October almost 50 people took part in our Charity Aerobics event, which introduced all the new and latest moves to Body Jam, Body Combat, Body Balance and Body Attack.

These super fun, high octane energetic sessions to all the latest cool sounds were even more fun as everyone was in pink!

New website creates a splash!

Carn Brea Leisure Centre launched its redesigned website today. The new site marks a dramatic improvement in the appearance, navigability, accessibility and usability of the Centre’s web.

All the ‘top-level’ pages of the site - for example, the homepage, pool, gym, fitness classes and kids activities pages have been redesigned and reorganised as part of a programme aimed at improving the communities’ awareness of the activities the Centre offers.

The Centre recognises that an attractive and easy-to-use web is essential if it is to become the focus for health and fitness in the Camborne, Pool and Redruth area. The development of the new website has been carried out by Louise Ramzan, the Centre’s Marketing Manager and Jump Media, a local based web design agency. 

New features include:

• Regular updates on special offers and membership updates
• Fitness classes timetables that are downloadable and easy to read.
• Regularly updated information about children’s activities and events during the school holidays
• The Leisure Centre’s activities including a comprehensive Events section and current press releases.
• All pool opening times, and other water based events like the new inflatable sessions.
• All the latest information on Fast Lane, the Centre’s swim school, including updates on class availability and rebooking details.

“The redesign of the website means it is easier to use, easier for us to manage and looks absolutely fantastic. This will ensure that our customers want to visit the site and all the information is up to date and accurate.” said Louise Ramzan, Marketing Manager.
“We hope that the new website will attract more users to the Centre.  As a Charitable Trust increasing the number of visitors is vital to our sustainability. More visitors results in an increase in income, which means direct improvements to our facilities.”
